Can I live with fewer FICON paths?
Removing one path at a time from each set of cables, determine path busy of the set
Must remove overhead, then take path ratio, then add overhead back in
Example:
- 8 FICON paths at 13% busy
- Is 3% busy w/o overhead
- Becomes 3.4% with 7 paths (3% x 8 / 7)
- Plus overhead gives 13.4% path busy w/7 FICON paths
